On Thursday, December 12th, at about 9:30 am, this man entered the Family Dollar located at 1090 Pipkin Road West in Lakeland, carrying an RC helicopter to exchange.
While the clerk was attempting to complete the exchange, the man walked to the side of the counter and opened a drone box and appeared to put the item in his pocket. The drone is valued at approximately $25.00.
The man is believed to live in the area and frequent the store, but his identity is unknown at this time. The detective would like to speak to the man about this investigation.
